A lot of people thought Harris would be either the VP or AG, so I actually like this better, as that frees up the AG position for Adam Schiff. I don’t actually think Biden will pick him though. Biden has worked in the White House for 8 years so I suspect he will pick someone in the Justice Department who he knows personally, but most of us have never heard of. I suspect a lot of his appointments are going to be likewise.

He’s the bravest attorney in public service I can think of. He’s gone after Klansmen, he’s gone after insurance companies who cheated people out of settlements, and probably most impressively – he sued Google and led a 48 state antitrust charge against them. Google tried to countersue him and they lost.
