These are all amazing a Nice Turkey Time To Get Basted Beer Shirt games that have “terrible graphics.” I’ve had friends refuse to try these because “oh it’s 2d…” or “that looks like some SNES dogshit game.” Let’s just say they are missing out on some great experiences. The original ds and dsi games, especially the gen 3-5 Pokemon games and the Mario and Luigi RPGs. Even just comparing black/white and X/Y, they moved from amazing looking 2D to mediocre-looking 3D. I know that it was hard to make the change in graphics and they still did really well, but personally I think the 2D games on ds ones looked way better than the pixelated 3D ones on the 3ds.

But it’s easily one of those games where you can say, “Alright I’m just gonna play for an hour.” and next thing you know it’s 6 AM and the sun is coming up. Minecraft is the elephant in the room. Like the most popular modern game and it does not look graphically amazing. The clear answer here. CS: GO the game has alright textures and assets with clearly bad lighting for the sake of consistency. Yet it is the #1 FPS e-sport game. I love games like the Town Of Salem. Games that focus their energy on human interaction. Where it is the players that make the game not the game. Allowing graphics to really take the background as it is never in focus.
