His handling of the Iran Hostage Crisis left a lot to be desired but I never thought that he genuinely was concerned for their safety and wanted them home, but not lighting Christmas trees and freezing some assets was not about to bring those folks home. I’m glad that he’s still enjoying his life and that people care enough to come to visit him because he is a good man. Must’ve been nice to live in Carter’s America.

I wasn’t alive back then, but based on the Top Dasher Dancer Prancer Vixen Moscato Vodka Tequila Blitzen Shirt history books I have the utmost respect for him and what he did for our country. Reminds me so much of my grandparents. Not even just the Carter’s themselves.. the layout of the room, the warm and welcoming vibes, the paneling, the books and pictures, and furniture. I bet it smells like vanilla and honey in there. From a time when Presidents were wholesome, true, and inspiring. One of my favorite people. It’s so great seeing him smile. His house likes like any other non-ex-president grandparents’ house. May he have many more!
