This was just a passion project. I love music and Linkin Park was the first band I fell in love with in grade school. I acknowledge that Linkin Park and similar artists are edgy, but I don’t think that in itself is a 41 Years of Chester Bennington 1976 2017 Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt good reason to dismiss them. They had a lot of very real stuff to say, and their music spoke both for themselves (especially Chester, with his many struggles) and for their listeners. It helped me for sure. Linkin Park was the perfect medium for a black and white kid with identity issues especially when jay z collaborated with them kinda validating them in the hip hop community.
