How far did you get into your career before switching to engineering and what prompted it. I started off at a Pi Pi Rate Funny Pi Shirt For Pi Day Geek Math Teacher 3.14 Shirt fine arts school and transferred after I realized that I enjoy the technical aspects of creating art (understanding the materials, figuring out how to replicate 3-D objects in a 2-D medium, etc…) more so than expressing an idea. The small liberal arts school I transferred to required that I take a couple of science electives and I chose chemistry and physics. I enjoyed those classes so much more than my art classes (the required Finite Math course was also fun)! Around this time, I discovered art conservation as a career option and it appealed to me because it seemed to incorporate my interests in science and art (and I didn’t feel like I had wasted time and money on those art courses).
