Reading this my feeling that country borders is a ridiculous Awesome Musical IDK Bro You Kinda Sus Shirts concept and shouldn’t even exist is validated. It depends on how seriously you take them. If they’re just there as geography marking in a map, ok. But once they start serving as a means of separation, of making it harder for people to get together then it’s harmful. But this is a much bigger discussion. I can’t help seeing these things from a high viewpoint and seeing things too deep. The borders here in NL/BE are bureaucratic. There is literally nothing stopping you from moving goods or people across the border. No checks, documents, or other stuff.
